Chief Instructor Sensei Dustin Baldis

Sensei Dustin Baldis is a former Captain and a member of the U.S. Karate Team (as recognized by the U.S Olympic Committee). In his schools he teaches the karate style of Shotokan, the most traditional and focused style of karate. His teaching success has been recognized when he was awarded the Fifth Dan. This award is presented to instructors whose students have earned medals and other awards at national and international competitions.

His karate schools in the Pittsburgh area are conveniently located with schedules to fit the most active client. Classes in the schools are offered at levels - from beginner to advanced. Special seminars with members of the U. S. National team are offered on a regular basis.

Instructors in other forms of martial arts, such as Judo and Ju-jitsu are often invited to show their skills at the Pennsilvania Shotokan Karate Club. Members of the school can observe the differences in the different martial arts, and gain further appreciation for this ancient form of self-defense.

One of the major benefits of attending classes at the Pennsylvania Shotokan Karate Club for the younger members is the building of their self-confidence maturity. Respect for their family, friends and teachers, as well as physical fitness, are the key objectives of the training at the PSKC.
